A Mirror for the Perpetually Outraged
You weren’t taught to think. You were taught to obey. To mock. To follow the “right” voices while silencing the rest. This isn’t a rebuttal. It’s a mirror. And it’s time to ask: do you see yourself?
Every time we publish an article, the same thing happens.
People we once respected — and people we’ve never even met — refuse to engage with the facts.
They don’t address the argument.
They won’t challenge a single point on the merits.
Instead, they quickly slap a label on it — “MAGA BS” —
And walk away smug, satisfied, and willfully ignorant.
They use “MAGA” like it’s a slur.
Not a movement. Not a perspective. Not even a political position.
Just a lazy way to shut down a conversation they’re too afraid to have.
They act like they know what it means —
As if they could possibly understand what that word represents to millions of Americans.
To them, it’s a punchline.
To others, it’s the only label that ever spoke to the frustration of being ignored, mocked, and misrepresented by the people in charge.
Sometimes, they don’t even read the article.
Other times, they do —
And still refuse to acknowledge the plain, black-and-white truth staring back at them.
Worse, they’ll try to “fact-check” it with propaganda.
They’ll respond to evidence with emotion.
They’ll counter reality with narrative —
As if that’s ever worked out well.
So no — this isn’t a rebuttal.
This is a mirror.
Because at some point, someone has to ask:
Do you see yourself?
You Became What You Claim to Hate
You call others brainwashed —
Yet you recite headlines without question and reject any challenge like it’s blasphemy.
You mock MAGA as a cult —
Yet you chant slogans, cancel dissent, and fall in line with every new moral panic.
You wore the mask.
Stood six feet apart.
Took the shots.
Obeyed every mandate —
Not because it made sense,
But because they told you it was the “right thing to do.”
You never questioned it.
You weren’t allowed to.
You accuse others of endangering democracy —
While you cheer censorship, political prosecutions, and blacklists for those who don’t conform.
You once said “question authority.”
Now you believe you are the authority —
And you demand obedience.
You call yourself anti-fascist —
But you enforce compliance.
You shame. You threaten. You dehumanize.
You’ve become the very thing you claimed to be fighting.
You were told your degree made you smarter.
More informed.
Above all this.
But somehow, the more “educated” you became,
The more you believed people who lied to you.
The more certain you were —
Even as you were wrong again and again.
You weren’t taught to think.
You were taught to trust the “right” sources.
To mock the “wrong” people.
And hand your judgment over to people who’ve proven they don’t deserve it.
You still think you know better —
Even when the facts say otherwise.
You were sold moral superiority —
And you bought it.
Not because it was true,
But because it made you feel righteous.
Even when it wasn’t.
Do you see yourself?
What You Were Told vs. What Actually Happened
You were told Trump colluded with Russia.
He didn’t.
You were told the 2020 riots were mostly peaceful.
They weren’t.
You were told the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.
It wasn’t.
You were told school closures were necessary.
They weren’t.
You were told the vaccine stopped transmission.
It didn’t.
You were told the unvaccinated were the enemy.
They weren’t.
You were told censorship was safety.
It was control.
You were told defunding the police would make communities safer.
It doesn’t.
You were told the Afghanistan withdrawal was a success.
It wasn’t.
You were told inflation was transitory.
It wasn’t.
You were told the border was secure.
It wasn’t.
You were told crime was going down.
It wasn’t.
You were told Biden was cognitively fine.
He wasn’t.
You were told you’d have a say in who would replace him.
You didn’t.
You were told Trump’s tariffs would destroy the economy.
They didn’t.
You were told to trust the experts.
They were wrong.
You were told to question everything.
You questioned nothing.
That is only a fraction.
The full list would break the page — and your narrative.
Do you see yourself?
Still With Me?
I bet by now, the very people this article is about have already stopped reading.
They rolled their eyes… clicked away.
Proud of themselves for “not engaging with disinformation,”
As if plugging your ears is a form of intelligence.
Are you still here?
Still scrolling?
Still waiting to call it propaganda?
Still trying to find a way to prove it wrong —
Even though you haven’t actually challenged a single fact?
Why?
Is it curiosity?
Is it anger?
Or is it that quiet discomfort you keep trying to ignore —
That voice in the back of your mind asking:
“What if I’ve been wrong?”
You don’t have to say it out loud.
You don’t even have to admit it.
But if you’re still reading, something in you knows.
And that matters.
Do you see yourself?
You Can’t Say You Weren’t Warned
The truth is never hard to find.
It’s always there — right in front of you.
You just choose not to see it.
Maybe because it doesn’t feel good.
Maybe because it doesn’t come from the “right” sources.
Maybe because seeing it means admitting you’re wrong.
Or maybe…
You don’t even notice —
Because you’re wrapped up in your bubble.
Deep in the echo chamber.
Convinced your side has to be the good one.
Maybe you do see it —
But you ignore it.
Because it feels good to have a righteous cause...
Even when the cause is built on lies.
Even when the people you trust keep failing you.
And here’s the part you still don’t want to face:
They’re not done lying.
Not even close.
The next crisis is already on deck.
The next slogan is being drafted.
The next round of silence, shame, and submission — it’s coming.
And if you still haven’t figured it out,
You’ll fall for it again.
Just like last time.
And the time before that.
And when it all falls apart — again —
You’ll pretend no one warned you.
But you know better.
Because we did.
So now ask yourself — really ask yourself:
Do you see it now?
